Entering the Cormor Park, you enter towards its center, but only for a few meters to then deviate towards the back of the Ardito Desio Park. This welcomes the colorful works of street artists on its large concrete surfaces. From the park continue towards the center of Udine.
Walk along the Roggia, one of the oldest water channels in Udine, then arrive in Piazza della Libertà.
From via Pradamano you reach piazza Cavalcaselle with a green central reservation; from here you have the possibility of a variant illustrated in the image below.
We walk along the vineyards. You go around the splendid Villa Deciani in the locality of Selvuzzis and, at the end of the dirt road, you reach Persereano, Santo Stefano Udinese and Tissano. From here you arrive at the gates of Palmanova.
Walk through the Starry City, passing through the beautiful square and following the signs for Aquileia, to exit from the Porta of the same name.
From here, take the suggestive Sentiero degli Spalti.
We head towards Cervignano del Friuli. The dedicated cycle path then continues towards Aquileia.
The track leads behind the Roman Forum and near the Basilica, where you can admire that it boasts a wonderful mosaic carpet, the largest in Western Europe.
From here you start to feel the scent of the Adriatic Sea.
The itinerary ideally ends here, after offering stupendous visions of enchanting landscape samples of the region, ranging from mountainous places, to hills, from wide views of the Friuli plain to the sea.
