Excursions

The beauties of Udine and Friuli

Alpe Adria cycle path

Eight stages to join the city of Mozart to the Adriatic Sea, passing through the Alps.

The Alpe Adria cycle path crosses the Alps partly along old railway tracks and several tunnels. A pleasant itinerary on two wheels of great satisfaction under many aspects: culture, sport, gastronomy!

Fusina lake

The Fusine Lakes are one of the most characteristic corners of the Friuli Venezia Giulia mountain, constituting a natural world in its own right.
Two basins of glacial origin, one upper and the other lower, connected by an underground system of waters that freeze in winter in one of the coldest corners of all of Italy.

Mount Lussari

A peak overlooks the space where the Carnic and Julian Alps meet, from an elitist position that sees it as a sentinel of these borderlands and a meeting place for Latin, Slavic and Germanic peoples: Monte Lussari is much more than a peak that touches 1800 m!
It is an exceptional balcony overlooking the giants of the Julian Alps: from here the gaze is lost in the majesty of the rock walls of Jof di Montasio, Jof Fuart and Mangart from a certainly privileged and uncompromising point of view.

Monte Festa

A perfect excursion suitable for adults and children -used to walking-, with wonderful landscapes rich in history: Monte Festa, among forts, war remains from the First World War and panoramic views of Lake Cavazzo and beyond, really has everything he needs it to become a perfect Sunday outing, even for the little ones used to walking.
